When I write about subject such as brief underwear http://unendingdebate. com puts me at far greater risk than normal because the topic could get risque quickly but since I m writing I have control over what gets published & what doesn t . Likewise the dialogue could end up turning out sleezy or raunchy at best. I won t let it; I promise you that. There s no need for it. It will be strictly a PG13-rated article for the benefit the younger readers on the website and quite possibly G-rated article .

As child I grew up wearing briefs as underwear. My mother never thought purchasing anything other. Back then you could buy packages five or six for really cheap. I don t recall being able to do with boxer shorts.

To be quite honest boxer shorts have taken on much greater cultural significance & the world over the past 10-15 years. Actually I m not sure I would ve been able to purchase boxer underwear 20 years ago when as Billy Joel sang I wore younger man s clothes. I know dates me tad.

When Michael Jordan the world s greatest basketball star advertised for major underwear retailer Jockey the briefs & boxers debate happily raged on. And yet the general public still doesn t know what style underwear he used. How did he respond when two women were admiring him Don t even go there Ladies. Great answer. Great commercial Jockey.

Briefs underwear are for the common man. Guys buy them because they are cheap. I cannot emphasize the word cheap enough because you can buy them bulk packages 4 6 & 10. And they re cheap because they normally come one few colors plain white being the classic.

Of course brief brands men choose matter lot too. Hanes Jockey & Fruit the Loom seem to capture the retail underwear market share. The mega superstores manufacture their own brand normally made China . Those generic brands briefs are cheaper quality than Jockey Hanes & Fruit the Loom.

In any event I lean towards briefs underwear. There you go I said it. Briefs are cheaper more common & they tend to be less cumbersome & intrusive. I ve tried boxers & they were awkward. I m old school; if ain t broken don t fix it. Same with underwear.
