1 Egypt. King Tut The Pyramids The Valley the Kings. The list endless. But it’s just not the history & the culture it’s the people too. Egyptians are some the kindest & most generous people on the planet. They will welcome you into their homes second & even if they have almost nothing they will share with you.

2 – China. China not somewhere people immediately think when planning holiday…but they should & hopefully after the Olympics Beijing they will. Even if you could only afford 7 to 10 days an itinerary takes Beijing Xian Yangtze River Cruise & Shanghai will be great introduction.
And for an unforgettable experience juts visit Guilin. Guilins landscape amazing & totally unique. It can’t necessarily be called Mountainous as such but the peaks do rise rise almost vertically up into the mist.
If you get chance take ski lift up to one the peaks & just stare awe at the view & if you are feeing adventurous take kart down toboggan style run about 3 000 feet length
3 – Jordan. Handily located if you plan right you can visit Egypt & Jordan together to make real trip to remember. Amman great city full atmosphere Petra marvellous but surely the can’t miss site the Dead Sea. The only ocean the world with so much salt you actually float
This alone makes Jordan must see country & on top what I have already mentioned don’t forget the Wadi Rum Aqaba Jerash & the Kings Highway. A week Jordan good but 10 days better.
4 – Hong Kong. Although there much more to Hong Kong than just shopping if you do love to shop then Hong Kong the place for you. A stroll along Nathan Road & visit to the Temple Street market just HAS to be done. And make sure you have your bargaining hat on as haggling as big part the experience as the purchases themselves.
There lots more to Hong Kong too. The great thing despite being modern city there tradition around every corner. Don’t forget to take trip to Victoria Peak & enjoy the stunning views & remember even if it’s misty there are 2 guys at the top who will take your picture & transpose onto picture what you should see if the weather where not so poor I also suggest couple half day visits out to Lama & Lantau Islands too. A great way to escape the hustle & bustle the craziness Hong Kong.
5 – Thailand. Thailand suffers little from it’s reputation being very hedonistic destination & while true the very wild side to Thaialnd especially certain areas Bangkok Phucket etc there also an amazing culture to immerse yourself in.
There really everything there adventure culture & even for the not faint hearted place about 1 hour north Thailand where you can go yes go with real live tigers. No cages no chains just you & around dozen tigers. For me was thrill lifetime & without doubt just one the many reasons Thailand my top 5 places you need to visit the world.
